The article describes the basic aspects of the daily life, of crafts workshop students in the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries, including the living conditions, meals, leisure time. We also analyze the interconnection between the life styles of students and the craftsman. Attention is paid to the role of the Crafts Council and municipal governments in the regulation of daily life.
