A study of the effect produced by addition of vermiculite concentrate and preliminary drying at temperatures exceeding 100oC to reduce the shrinking deformations of vermiculite-concrete is presented. It is found that vermiculite concentrate added in amounts of 20% of the cement mass, as well as preliminary drying at 200oC, reduce the shrinking deformations of vermiculite-concrete more than 2 fold in comparison with reference compositions.
