A technology of gypsum production for the building industry has been developed. It involves a treatment of spent calcium nitrate of nitric acid solutions by concentrated sulphuric acid. Simultaneous production of building materials in course of nitric acid technology of pure titanium dioxide, accompanied by nitric acid recuperation for repeat use, improves the process economy.
