Geoecological research is conducted at the Institute of Chemistry, KSC RAS, in the following directions: investigation of physico-chemical processes occurring in mining wastes; supergenesis effect on technological properties of man-made resources and environment; analysis of the state and possibility of recovery of man-made deposits to enhance the level of resource utilization; creation of technologies for mining waste processing to building and technical materials; development of a scientific basis for creating geochemical barriers for effluent and natural water purification and precipitation of dissolved non-ferrous metals.
