The energy efficiency of individual components, process chains (stages) and energy facilities in general is evaluated by losses from them. The analysis is based on factual data collected from Republic of Karelia. It is shown that the capital intensity of individual components of the energy facilities, as well as the capital intensity of energy-using equipment is insufficient for the new economic circumstances, wherefore the macroenergy parameters of the energy facilities are low.
