Типы месторождений блочного камня по характеру трещиноватости
// Геология и полезные ископаемые Карелии. Вып. 11. Петрозаводск: КарНЦ РАН, 2008. C. 233-238
The authors formulate a basic theory of the deformation regimes of the Earth's crust that provide the stressed state of some zones of mineral resources. The theory was first proposed by E. M. Anderson, who described three versions of the orientation of the main axes of normal stresses and, accordingly, three groups of ruptures: overthrusts, dislocations and faults, with regard for lithostatic load. The authors propose one more type of ruptures characteristic of dimension stone deposits caused by cutting-off in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal surface. A revised classification of rupture types is put forward. Types of deposits, distinguished on the basis of the study of fracturing patterns in active dimension stone deposits, are discussed. A classification of dimension stone deposits, based on four versions of the orientation of the main axes of normal stresses, is proposed.
