The results of analysis of the mineralogical composition of secondary ores from the tailings storage of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant (AMMP), based on mineralogical-geochemical study, are reported. The forms of basic and associated components, their capacity and degree of dressing were revealed using various flow charts. The mineral distribution balance of valuable impurity elements, such as silver, cadmium, bismuth, cobalt and nickel, in ores from the tailings storage was estimated.
