Today environmental problems and economics profit challenge development of new innovation ecologically
pure technologies of coal combustion providing maximal utilization of all raw material that results in the minimal waste production. For predicting coal quality and effective enrichment schemes development challenge the precise coal studying both matseral and mineral components, the latter is responsible for ash and sulfur content in raw material. Leading methods for coal technological estimation are the quantitative mineralogical methods. The testing of power coals for degree of preparation and washability fast forecasting can be made on mineralogical criteria basing on mineral faze content, character of rock-forming minerals distribution, their morphometrical characteristics and granular structure combining optic-geometrical, X-rays powder diffraction and X-rays computer tomography data. The fulfilled investigation determined the middle–nearby easy washability (range of enrichment) in technological processing of the tested brown coal.
