The article contains description and comparison of manual and automatic methods of optiko-geometrical analysis that is used for the objectives of the technological mineralogy. The Analyzer of fragments of a microstructure «Mineral С7» is chosen as an example to demonstrate the automated methods of diagnostics of mineral structure and quantitative measurements of structural, structural -technological and regime-technological parameters of ore raw materials.
