The parameters of the mineral compounds leaching from iron ore from various quarries of the Kostomuksha mining and ore processing plant was determined by laboratory modeling. The experiments allowed us to understand the causes, and find that the tailings chemical composition changed mostly under the impact of extraction and processing of ore from the central quarry.
