Considered the fundamental properties of minerals as the object of technology assessment, enrichment and industrial use. Some new problems of technological mineralogy were discussed. The perspectives were estimated of transformation of waste of mining production in the geotechnogenic deposits — an important reserve of mineral raw for future generations.
