The article presents results of mineralogical-geochemical research of the rare Earth elements mineralization in the kyanite schists of the Bol'shiye Keivy. Its two forms to follow have been defined: 1) independent mineral phase – monazite, 2) admixture in muscovite, graphite, zircon, ortite and other minerals. The above minerals are included in late veinlets intersecting high-alumina schists. Development of the rare Earth elements along faults and in the periphery of kyanite concretions testifies to the mobility of REE in the metamorphic process. It has been concluded that the Keivy kyanite schists are very promising for rare and rare Earth elements.
