The article deals with the low competitiveness concerning the price of the tourist product and the excursion tours in the Karelian Republic. The elasticity of the tourist demand on the price was accompanied by the essential decline of the tourist flow in 2009 when other areas despite the crisis have demonstrated the growth. In conclusion, the ways to imperfection of the tourist product's supply for increase of its attractiveness are offered.
