The report is devoted to a problem of teaching of interpreters for work in the sphere of tourism and services in the Kamchatka Krai. Based on own experience of teaching of special disciplines of the tourist direction at institutes of higher education in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and on the work experience in the tourist firms as an interpreter, the author marks out more urgent problems connected with training of interpreters for the industry of the tourism and services in the Kamchatka Krai and outlines specific ways for their solving.
