Fauna, numbers of nematodes have been studied in the litter of pine, birch and alder forests in the Chernihiv Polissya. 29 species of nematodes were found which belong to 7 orders. Each type of the forest is characterized by the numbers of nematodes. Plectidae and Aphelenchoididae are prevailed in litter of pine forests. Rhabditidae and Panagrolaimidae are most abundant in litter of alder forests of region.
