Olga Koshman, Head of the KarRC RAS Doctoral Studies Department, informed that the entrance exams will be held from September 1 to 8, and for those who pass them successfully and get enrolled, studies will begin on October 1, 2026. Depending on the chosen scientific specialization, the duration of study will be 3 or 4 years. Throughout the entire study period, doctoral students will be supervised by leading scientists of the Karelian Research Centre RAS and are also expected to do scientific research.
Olga Sergeevna reminded that, in accordance with the law, doctoral students admitted to state-funded positions and studying successfully are paid a stipend.

On June 20, Karelian Research Centre began accepting applications for doctoral studies. A total of 8 full-time positions are available this year, 6 of which are state-funded. The submission deadline is July 2.
