The article is devoted to the study of the quality of life of the population of the Republic of Karelia. Based on the analysis of data from sociological surveys of the economic and social wellbeing of people using multivariate statistical analysis, a typology of socio economic disparities in the quality of life was developed. The system of specific and integral indicators for life quality assessment based on individual perception of socio economic wellbeing is suggested.
