The analysis of the expression rates of the circadian genes CLOCK, BMAL1, and PER1 in human oral mucosa cells of donors with essential hypertension (EH) in dependence of CLOCK and BMAL1 gene polymorphic variants was carried out for the first time. The expression rates of the genes were estimated at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. by the real-time PCR method. We found out significant differences in the levels of the gene expression between carriers of different genotypes for the 3111ТС and 257TG polymorphic markers in the regulatory regions of the CLOCK gene. There were no significant differences between carriers of different genotypes for 862ТС, 2121GA CLOCK gene markers and 56445ТС BMAL1 gene marker.
