A review of scientific literature on the global warming impact on the economy is presented. Assessments of the global warming effects on agriculture and forestry, energy and transport are given for vulnerable to climate change regions in the North. The paper describes that there is a lack of Russian studies to assess the economic significance of temporary winter roads.
