The article is devoted to the Open corpus of Veps and Karelian languages (VepKar). The functional capabilities of the system, data organization and quantitative characteristics of the corpus are described. The applications of the corpus in international projects are presented. The corpus can be considered as a linguistic platform due to the corpus linguistics tools and further works.
