The author shows that using a discrete approach to the structural description of the Universe, based on Delone's systems, one can cover all hierarchical levels from elementary particles to the packing of galactical superclusters. In the most general form, Delone's systems show the distribution of molecule centres in ideal gas, in the most degenerate form – perfect crystalline
structures. All other states of matter are between these two limit states. The external energy received is used by the system for ordering, and perfect order can only be in crystalline structures. Therefore, open systems on any hierarchical levels try to approach a crystalline state. Connected with this is the self-perfection of crystals – the effect far beyond the scope of crystallography.
