The paper presents a model of the biological wastewater treatment system. The problem of the wastewater treatment process stabilization for the piecewise constant pollutant inflow for general form trophic functions describing the oxidationprocess and the input flow is studied. The model has the form of a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). By changing variables, we construct an intermediary system of linear ODEs more useful for the analysis. The existence of a periodic solution to the intermediary system is proved. Based on this result, the problem of the stabilization of the original wastewater treatment system is solved. The form of the controls providing localization of the periodic solution is obtained. It is demonstrated that for any initial data, the timing of the system’s solutions is synchronized.
