Practical guide consists of several chapters. The first part deals with complete parasitological investigation of parasites of Salmonidae fish, including sampling methods and fixation, staining and mounting techniques for different parasite species. The second part considers statistical approaches for assessment of the abundance and species richness of parasite fauna. The third part lists all parasite species of Salmonidae fish of Fennoscandia, as well as the data on host species, locality and indices of prevalence and abundance. Full bibliography is provided.
