Палеопротерозойские эклогиты Беломорского подвижного пояса (об эклогитизации габбро в дайке комплекса лерцолитов-габброноритов)
// Геология и полезные ископаемые Карелии. Вып. 11. Петрозаводск: КарНЦ РАН, 2008. C. 37-61
gabbronorite dyke from a 2.43-2.44 Ga lherzolite-gabbronorite complex and host rocks (eastern end of the Town of Gridino) are reported. Geological and petrological data have led the authors to conclude that eclogites after gabbroids were formed autonomously, obviously under autoclave conditions, fluids being active. The matter was crystallized in a magmatic chamber under subsolidus-metamorphic conditions in accordance with the isobaric cooling trend at a temperature of 900 to 700.C and a pressure of 13 kbar. As a result, eclogites were formed in the temperature range 760-700°C on transition from the high-pressure 280 granulite facies to the eclogite facies. Subsequent stages of the process evolved in the central part of the dyke to give rise to eclogites at a pressure of 15 kbar and temperatures of 770-810.C to a pressure of 20 kbar and a temperature of 930°C, which is probably due to the extremely high pressures of residual fluids. Retrograde processes evolved in a subisothermal decompression regime to the metamorphic conditions of the external medium (P = 6.5-7.5 kbar, T = 650-700.C). The results of the detailed geological and petrological study of an eclogitized olivine.
