Промышленные минералы Елетьозерского массива и их аналоги на Фенноскандинавском щите

The Yeletozero pyroxenite-gabbro-alkaline magmatic complex is shown to host ilmenitic and titanomagnetitic occurrences as well as alkaline and nepheline syenites as the sources of feldspar. A brief review of economic ilmenitic ore and nepheline syenite localities, known on the Fennoscandian Shield, is presented. The Suurivaara ilmenitic ore occurrence (Eastern ore body), the most attractive ore prospect in the Yeletozero massif, is used as an example to show the geological and technological characteristics of the ilmenitic ore of the massif. Another essential industrial mineral occurrence is the central part of the nepheline syenite massif. Geological and technological study has led the authors to conclude that the above occurrences can be used in both dressed and undressed form in various industries. Based on the geological and technological data obtained on ilmenitic and titanomagnetitic ores and low-iron feldspathic concentrates from nepheline syenites, these occurrences can be evaluated, and the mineral reserves are assumed to be accessible from the modern geological, technological, economic and environmental points of view.
