It is shown that the economic significance of industrial minerals can be tentatively evaluated even in early stages. Several examples, such as the Tikshozero-Yeletozero complex and anorthosites from the Kotozero intrusive gabbroanorthosite complex (magmatic genetic group), garnet and soapstone (metamorphosed and metamorphic genetic groups), are discussed. The conclusion is drawn that the use of the properties of industrial minerals, depending on the geological factors that contributed to the formation of the Precambrian evolutionary geological-technological system of Karelia, is important.
