Magnetite skarn ores are one of the basic sources of iron in Russia. They are characterised by difficult composition. At research separation skarn ores demand detailed studying with application of modern methods of technological mineralogy. Research of magnetite ores of Tagarsky and Jun-Jaginsky deposits has allowed to estimate influence of material composition on efficiency of technological operations.
