It is shown that applied mineralogical investigations of mineral raw material source featuring complex composition and
pattern, require application of state-of-the-art comprehensive mineralogical-analytical methods. It is noted, that a rational combination of mineralogical methods to obtain complete and reliable information on composition, structure and properties of mineral and ores in whole. It is demonstrated the examples of processing assessment of coal, manganese ores, technogene raw material.
