Ores from Yuny epithermal deposit (Magadan region) were found to contain gold-silver sulphide, yutenbogaardtite, which accounts for up to 10% of other forms of gold. The conditions of formation, morphological characteristics and parageneses of the mineral are discussed. A thermodynamic model of the hypogene formation of yutenbogaardtite was developed with regard for the generation pattern of the deposit and the interaction of hydrothermal solutions with host rhyolites.
