The review of results of investigations that have been performed by different organizations in 2002-2004 according to the program "Structural and functional estimation of White Sea ecosystems as the base for development of mariculture and increasing of its bioproductivity" is suggested. The future trends of investigations in the fields of oceanography, hydrobiology and ichthyology are discussed.
