Ecological role of the geochemical barriers in the pollution of the White Sea was studied. We have considered some geochemical barriers: "river-sea", "coast-sea" and other in the various estuaries and coastwater morphological type. The average value of the chemistry characteristics and pollution was estimated. The role of the channel Gorlo of the White Sea as geochemical barrier was evaluated.
