In the article the changed variety of basalts (anthropogenic formation of waste banks of the oil mine №1 of «Jaregaoil») were defined by the method of mineralogical-petrografical and technological researches. They differ from primary magmatic rocks by heightened lightness at the expense of formation of feldspars, chlorites, carbonates and argillite by force of hydrothermal influence and hypergene kaolization. These formations were exposed to thermal processing to 1200 oC in order to receive silicate melt as initial semi-finished product for glass fibre, stone cast and ceramic products.
