The article presents the results of precision study of the distribution of rare and rare earth elements in various quartz types: magmatic, post-magmatic, hydrothermal, chemogenic, terrigenic-metamorphogenic, pegmatitic. Significant differences in quartz geochemical characteristics were detected, and the main geochemical types of quartz, which correlate with the minerogenesis conditions, were classified (by RE and REE).
