Сurrent research has shown, that one's mutations rs4680 in exon and rs740603 in intron leads to increase of evaluation of postoperative pain syndrome, emotional disorders and sighs of depression, if the mutant allele A is presented, whereas intraoperative doses of fentanyl are decreased comparing with those persons, who has allege G in the same location. Frequent haplotypes for single nucleotide substitutions in the COMT gene regions are described, relations between haplotypes and evaluation of postoperative pain syndrome, emotional disorders and sighs of depression have been shown.
